De Jong Verhuizingen partners with Albers Euromovers
Albers Euromovers from Alkmaar is starting a new chapter by partnering with De Jong Verhuizingen from Woudsend (Friesland). This collaboration is the result of a careful process in which owner Hans van Staalduinen (65), partly due to health reasons, decided to take a step back.
“After leading my company with heart and soul for many years, it was important for me to find a good partner who would continue Albers’ values,” says Van Staalduinen. “I was looking for a company with not only experience but also a working style that matched ours. With De Jong Verhuizingen, I found that.”
Expansion towards North Holland
De Jong Verhuizingen is a well-known name in the moving industry. In recent years, the family business has made several acquisitions, including Zoer Verhuizingen (Steenwijk) and Halo Removal Logistics (Winkel). With the collaboration with Albers Euromovers, the company now expands further into North Holland.
“This is a logical strengthening of our organization,” says Peter de Jong, Commercial Director at De Jong Verhuizingen. “We are very much looking forward to working with the team at Albers Euromovers, who bring a wealth of experience and craftsmanship.”
Growing together
In the summer of 2025, Peter and Maurits de Jong will join the management team of Albers Euromovers.

A major advantage of the partnership is access to the Euromovers network, of which Albers has long been a member. This network gives De Jong Verhuizingen the opportunity to further expand its national and international client base. “We already have weekly destinations to Scandinavian countries, Southern Europe, and even beyond Europe,” adds Peter de Jong. “The modern, computer-controlled storage facility for containers in Alkmaar is also a great addition to our existing services. This storage product is truly top of the line in our sector!”
A smooth transition
Hans van Staalduinen remains involved in the company as a seasoned entrepreneur and will act as an advisor to ensure the collaboration runs smoothly. This allows him to share his knowledge and experience with the other management members.
